Harassment, Personal Information, Facilitators
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for the harassment of our Facilitators. To ensure a safe and respectful environment, a Facilitator is permitted to and expected to immediately terminate any presentation if they feel unsafe or experience disrespectful behaviour.
Black History Matters and its Facilitators acknowledge that participants may inadvertently divulge personal information during presentations. At no time shall Black History Matters or its Facilitators share any personal information given by any participant without permission. You agree that no personal information shared by a Black History Matters Facilitator shall be shared without their explicit consent and permission.
You understand that the Black History Matters Facilitators may not be trained educators in the traditional sense but come to the program through lived experiences and through the Black History Matters Training Program.
If the Facilitator you scheduled is unavailable, we will arrange for a qualified substitute right away and update you regarding the change as soon as possible.
